Greater Wenatchee Regional Events Center

The Greater Wenatchee Regional Events Center will be a new 5,000 seat multi-purpose spectator facility. Ground breaking for the GWREC took place on September 12, 2006.

A Multi-Purpose Facility for Greater Wenatchee

This facility will be truly “Multi-Purpose”, capable of hosting a variety of events ranging from trade shows, conventions, graduations, performing arts, concerts, sporting events, youth sports, thrill shows and family events.

August 1, 2008: GLOBAL ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES NAMING RIGHTS FOR THE GREATER WENATCHEE REGIONAL EVENTS CENTER
Phoenix, Arizona – Global Entertainment announced on August 1st 2008 it has awarded the naming rights for the Greater Wenatchee Regional Events Center to Town Toyota. The Center will now be known as the Town Toyota Arena. The Town Toyota Arena is a 4,300 seat arena scheduled to open in the fall of 2008.

May 30, 2008: The Wenatchee Wild Hockey Club to unveil the new team logo
The logo features a “Wild” Gray Wolf, and it will serve as the team’s primary logo. This ferocious wolf is bursting out of the Logo and coming right at you! He’s ready to attack all opponents and defend our territory. The Gray Wolf travels in packs of up to 20 or more, much like our team.

Global Entertainment announced Tuesday April 22ndat the Greater Wenatchee Public Facilities District meeting that the newly formed “Wenatchee Fire Professional Soccer Team” will play their inaugural season in the Greater Wenatchee Regional Events Center, currently under construction and scheduled to open in September.
